Assisted Living/Memory Care

If you and your pet are interestested in visiting the elderly population, PPSAZ has a number of assisted living, memory care, and elderly care facilities requesting pet therapy.  
Visiting the elderly and memory care population is truly a heartwarming experience.  More and more therapy pets are being utlized for therapeutic purposes at senior facilities.  Therapy pets interact with seniors for numerous reasons to help improve their quality of life.  Contact with therapy animals can bring lonely, withdrawn seniors out of their shells, making them happier and more communicative.  A visit from one of our Pet Partners' teams instantly puts smiles on the faces visited and provides an avenue for the display of affection and love.
